This evening-length work is a retelling of the biblical stories of Adam and Eve and the first days of the earth - Creation. It was originally constructed in 2006 and exemplifies the Artistic Directors' roots in faith-based and liturgical dance. Made as a personal exploration for Co-Artistic Director, Jamie Drye, of biblical themes in the elements (earth, fire, wind, and water), the work has evolved to center around one’s individual journey of faith and humanity. It is with the Artistic Directors’ firm belief that faith is fundamental to how we navigate the world. This adaptation fuses classical dance-elegance with the electrifying power of gospel music, artistry, and spirituality to captivate your senses and uplift your soul. "Creation" invites you to join a communal experience of love and celebrate our togetherness and differences.
